INTERNATIONAL  HUMAN  RIGHT’S  DAY


International  Human  Rights  Day  is Observed  on  December  10  every  year,  when  India  stands  in  saving  the  Rights  of the  people. It  marks  the  day  when  United Nations  General  Assembly  Adopted  the universal  declaration  of  Human  Rights  on November  9 1983. It came  into  force  on October 20 2000. Human  Rights  day  is reserved  for  Honoring  the  Decision  of United  Nations  General  Assembly  to  Adopt UDHR  (Universal  Declaration  of  Human Rights). This  day  is  a  tribute  to  all  the Human  Rights  passed. Every  year  this  day will  met  with fabulous celebrations with political conferences and meetings. Around the world many exhibitions, Debates and programs are held to mark this day.  Numerous Government, and civil Associations take part in the eventual celebrations. Among all these media can put forth a lot of effort on promotion of this day.

AIM  OF  HUMAN  RIGHTS  DAY :
            Human Rights day is celebrated every year to spread Awareness regarding passed Human rights. This day is also Deemed as an Awakening call to promote the Rights of vulnerable groups such as women, children, Disabled etc.  It also protects the Rights of the Human Being and for them to understand and get a wide spread knowledge of what are Rights.  Keeping in minds of the second world war and losses which should never be allowed to recur, the United Nations came forward in 1945 to promote and Protect the Human Rights. After three years later in 1948, the General Assembly of the United Nations Confirmed that  “Respect for Human Rights and Human Dignity” is the foundation for freedom Justice and peace in the world as the concept of Human Rights.
            First formal establishment of Human Rights Day took Place at 317th plenary meeting of the General Assembly on 4th December 1950. Once in every five years Awards are given for those who served in the field of Human Rights and Nobel prizes are also Awarded.

 HUMAN  RIGHTS  DAY  IN  INDIA:
            In 1993, the Autonomous Public Body, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of India was found for the promotion and protection of civilians Human Rights which works on Right s relating to life, liberty, equality and dignity of an individual.
            Major goals of celebrating Human Rights day is to eradicate poverty from the lives of Human Beings. This is the 70th Anniversary of Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This year Human Rights day will be celebrated with the theme  “Stand up for the Human Rights”.
            It proclaimed the Inalienable Rights of every Human Being Regardless of Race,  Colour, Religion, Language etc.

RIGHTS  PROTECTED  BY  HUMAN  RIGHTS COMMISION:
1.Right to life:  It protects your life. State will Investigate Suspicious Death.

2. Right to Education : This Right enacted by the parliament in 2009 to mandate free 
education for children Aged below  6-14 years.

3. Right to Freedom of Expression : The Constitution of India allows freedom of expression, where an individual is free to express his/her thoughts and opinions freely.
Protection against slavery and forced labour.

4. Right to fair trail and no punishment with out law you are innocent until proven guilty.

5. No discrimination every one’s rights are equal.

6. Rights to free elections elections elections must be free and fair .

7. Right to liberty and freedom.

8. Right to free speech and peaceful protest.

9. Protection of property.

“To deny people with their rights is to challenge their Humanity”.
