SCIENTIFIC PROOF FOR JESUS SWEATING BLOOD :
As mentioned in the scriptures, Jesus christ's sweat was like drops of blood falling on to the Ground, While he was Praying in the Garden of Gethsemane before Crucification.
The night before the Jesus was Crucified, he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. It is in the Gospel of Luke, where we can see that, in Agony, he prayed more Earnestly. Then his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the Ground (luke 22:44).
WAS THIS PHENOMENON REALLY EXISTS IN MEDICAL SCIENCE ?
For this question Medical Science says yes. Because it was also described by Leonardo Da vinci, that a soldier who sweated blood before going to the battle. Recently also many cases were recorded in Medical History regarding sweating blood. Medical science termed this phenomenon as HEMATOHIDROSIS. It is very rare but very real Medical condition. Hematohidrosis means a person's sweat contains blood. In this condition, capillary blood vessels that feed the sweat glands Rupture causing them to excute blood ,occurs in conditons of Extreme Physical or Emotional stress. Another explanation for this condition is, The sweat glands that are surrounded by tiny blood vessels constrict and dilate to the point of rupture, where the blood will Effuse in to the sweat glands. It will happens in Extreme Anguish. We can see his level of Anguish in Gospel accounts in (Mathew 26: 38) as "My soul is Over Whelmed with sorrow to the point of Death".The Extreme Anguish and Sorrow of Jesus was understandable.
Because Being God, Christ knew all, that will happen to him. He knew in pain stalking detail the events, that were to follow soon after. All the things factored to his Great Anguish and sorrow causing him to the Blood mingled with the sweat and thickened the Globules. So that, they fell on the Ground in little clots and does not merely stain the skin. Many cases of this condition were recorded under Medical History. A case involving Fear of being raped, fear of storm. Another explanation for this sweating blood is Multiple blood vessels which are present in the form of net around the sweat glands constrict under pressure of stress. As the anxiety increases, the blood vessels dilate to the point of Rupture. Then the blood goes in to the sweat glands, which push it along with sweat to the surface presenting as Droplets of Blood mixed with Sweat.
EFFECT OF HEMATOHIDROSIS ON HUMAN BODY :
Effect of the Hematohidrosis on the body was weak ness and mild inorder to moderate dehydration, from the severe anxiety, both blood and sweat will loss. In this condition, blood oozes intermittently from the skin with out any visible broken skin.
DIAGNOSIS OF HEMATOHIDROSIS: Diagnosis of Hematohidrosis is by in which Haemoglobin in blood reacts with Hydrogen Peroxide liberating Oxygen, which then reacts with organic reagent producing a Green to Blue coloured compound. Hemochromogen test confirms that the blood is of human origin. Blood usually oozes from Fore head, Nails in Hematohidrosis. As per Scriptures, jesus sweat blood from Fore head.
It has been proposed to be a possible explanation for Jesus Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane and claims for associated with Hematohidrosis.
